Even sometimes it exposes them to our view directly…
These days through which the whole world passes are the “displayed” or “exposed” moments of the concepts ‘far away’ and ‘nearby’…

Moreover, nothing as being close or distant is “exempt” from those being both natural and cultural.Just like every year, BursaPhotoFest had decided on a theme for photographers to deal with a world-related topic for the year 2020.However, developments that neither a single person nor any institutions could foresee led to the expansion and re-determination of the theme developed by BursaPhotoFest this year.

Melting down the previously announced theme of “They are the future” in a pot, we believe that the concepts “far away” and “nearby” will evoke new thoughts in our fellow photographers’ imagination and commit the year 2020 to the visual memory of history...

We will carry out the festival as we do every year, but with a slight difference. We are going to have a “online festival”. Also we do not title it with a number this year, and we wish that it could remain imprinted on our memories as BursaPhotoFest 2020.
